A multi-WA Music Awards winner of Best Media Individual for his music journalism,holding the record as the youngest media Lecturer/Course Coordinator at Murdoch University,broadcasting on radio for over 15 years (including currently hosting and coordinating programs on RTRFM and previous segment presenter on ABC Perth Drive,triple j with Richard Kingsmill,Nova and more) and manager of award-winning Bands under his Aaromedia business,Aarom is quite simply obsessed with music. This extends to DJing,his skills and extensive knowledge seeing him a fave at an extremely diverse range of venues,including holding down residencies at Long Chim,Northbridge Brewing Club,The Trustee’s Angel’s Cut,Flying Scotsman,Rosemount Hotel,Joe’s Juice Joint,The Peach Pit,and more. Whether playing to younger crowds at contemporary music-focused faves such as Southbound,Cuban Club,Seriously Sound System,Stereosonic and Future Music Festival,or more mixed crowd and lifestyle events such as Perth International Arts Festival,AGWA Nights (Art Gallery of Western Australia),Taste Of Perth,BeauVine Festival,Rottofest,Northbridge Festival,A Day On The Green and Fringe World,Aarom takes on all events with passion,professionalism and panache.
